Lean Management Implementation in Malaysian Public Sectors: Critical Success Factors and Performance Implications

Abstract This study aims to investigate the effects of lean management implementation on public sector performance along with critical success factors its implementation. The cross-sectional quantitative survey collected 131 responses from organisations in Malaysia selected through a stratified random sampling procedure. Data were analysed using structural equation modelling (SEM) approach SmartPLS 4 professional. Lean resources, culture, and knowledge are for implementing Malaysian sector. Subsequently, holistic will enhance their performance. provides practical viewpoint practitioners understand validate potential benefits can sustain if implemented factors. As result, policymakers could use insight this tailor strategies leveraging sectors’ Malaysia.
